Biography
Catherine Garceau is a dynamic national speaker and health motivator.
Catherine was a Bronze Medal winner in the 2000 Summer Olympics who, today, combines her life lessons with in-depth studies in body/ mind nutrition and psychology. Her mission is to educate others about how challenges with food, body, and/or self-esteem are doorways into soul-level growth. Her philosophy of “Whole Being Nourishment” allows Catherine to coach clients, who feel trapped by circumstances, to embrace their life’s adventure as well as its destination. This philosophy is an essential ingredient to to the sustainability of the wellness techniques she teaches.
Born and raised in a suburb of Montreal, Canada, Catherine’s dedication to practice and perfection earned her an Olympic Bronze Medal. Yet that same drive for perfection also insidiously crept into her life outside of the pool, showing up as silent struggles with depression and eating disorders.
In 2002, Catherine faced her health issues head-on which, in turn, led her to her new life passion: exploring human potential through the gateways of health/ healing, psychology, and spirituality. She completed a business degree at the University of Toronto along with formal training in the fields of personal growth, speaking, health, and human potential. In the course of her journey, Catherine confirmed her growing desire to offer guidance and support to people who, like her, struggle with eating, body image, weight challenges, and/or lack of self-confidence.
Catherine loves sharing her toolkit of practices, insight, and resources. It’s a unique blend of spiritual inquiry, emotional clearing practices, and nutritional education. And the final result is that her clients and students gain tools and techniques for creating their own blueprints to wellness.
We’re delighted to have Catherine on-board the faculty of FMG University as a Charter Instructor!
